Irvin Crisp
BUHL — Irvin Crisp, 88, of Buhl, died Saturday in Magic Valley Memorial Hospital.
He was born Sept. 16, 1890, at Manes, Mo. He attended schools in Missouri and he married Laura Rumfelt, Jan. 31,1912. They came to the Buhl area in 1917 where he farmed in the Lucerne, Cedar Draw and Filer areas. In 1971 he retired and had lived in Heritage Manor since. He was a member of the Buhl Masonic Lodge and the Lucerne-Cedar Draw and Buhl granges.
Survivors include his wife of Twin Falls: a son, Claude Crisp of Ontario, Ore.; two daughters, Mrs. Claude (Myrtle) Brewer and Mrs. Millard (Fern) Stahlman, both of Buhl: three sisters. Mrs. Laura Shropshire of Twin Falls, Mrs. Iva Hurley of Buhl and Beatrice Adams of Walla Walla, Wash.; three brothers, Bergie Crisp of Twin Falls, Ezra Crisp of Boise and Nolan Crisp of Springfield, Mo.; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters.
Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Farmer Chapel in Buhl with the Rev. Edwin Bayly officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Masonic rites will be held.
