Robert Charles Forton, 53, of Mount Clemens, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, in Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center. He was born March 14, 1953, in Mount Clemens.
Mr. Forton is survived by his children, Robert M. and Kristina Forton of Columbus Township; father, George A. Forton of Mount Clemens; siblings, Dennis Cooper of Prescott, Mary (Edward) Bakeman of Sterling Heights; Richard Forton of Alger, George E. Forton of Mount Clemens and Debra (Matthew) Cole of Melvin; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Ave., Mount Clemens, with the Rev. Michael Cooney officiating. Burial will be in Centennial Cemetery, New Haven.
