Becky Leigh Price was born October 31, 1972, to Sharon (Perry) Price in Sioux Falls, SD. She had two sisters, Lisa and Sue, and two brothers, Timothy and Dustin. Becky received her education in the local area but graduated from the Box Elder Schools. She had been employed with some of the restaurants here in Sioux Falls. In 1999, Becky was blessed with her son, Austin.
Becky was an avid reader, reading two or three books a day. Her favorites were the Harlequin romance novels. When she had enough time, Becky enjoyed watching action movies. Her family says Becky enjoyed a good “Chick Flick”. Even though Becky hated her birthday being on Halloween, she would still try to make the trip to Royal River Casino in Flandreau to go into the Money Machine. Becky strongly supported Austin and his interests, like being in the Washington High School Marching Band. The family spoke of Becky’s unfulfilled dream to someday visit Dublin, Ireland.
Those left to cherish Becky’s memory include: her son Austin; sisters, Lisa (Paul) Hawley, and Sue Daniels, both of Sioux Falls; brother, Dustin Price of Sioux Falls; and many other relatives and friends. Becky is preceded in death by: her mother, Sharon; one brother, Timothy; and other loved ones.
