Mr. Rogers was a native and lifelong resident of Scott County. He was a member of Antioch Primitive Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He also helped oversee the Antioch-Steele Cemetery for many years, was an avid sportsman and Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Rogers of Forest; daughter, Donna Rogers and fiance’ Charlie Polk of Flowood; son, Kevin Rogers and wife Heather of Madison; grandchildren, Erin Hollingsworth and husband Taylor, Ben Rogers, Logan Rogers, Luke Rogers and Brady Rogers; sister, Libby Bosarge of Pascagoula; brothers, Clay Boler of Houston, TX and Jack Rogers of Moss Point.
He was preceded in death by his parents, H B and Mary Rogers; sister, Mary Rogers Dunagan; brothers, Buck Rogers, Tom “Junior” Rogers and Opal Rogers.
