Mrs. Aldema Kistler, wife of A. J. Kistler, passed away at her home on the DeKalb-Allen county line road at 9 o'clock Monday night. She was stricken with a heart attack and died just a few moments after a physician reached her home. She had been in good health and had worked in the garden at her home Monday afternoon.
The deceased was born on Feb. 1, 1871, in Allen county and had resided in this community all of her life.
She is survived by her husband and one son, Jay Kistler, at home. One son and daughter are deceased. A sister, Mrs. Dan Ross of Charlotte, Mich., also survives as well as four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was a member of the Methodist church and a past member Of the Royal Neighbors.
Funeral services will be held at the home at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon and interment will be made at Cedar Chapel cemetery.
