Davidson, Judith Elaine (Ewry), age 74, of Dayton, passed on April 24, 2017.
Judy was preceded in death by her father, C. Leslie Ewry, mother, Marion Ewry
(Farrell) and brother, Carl “Skip” Ewry. She is survived by her brother, Edward
Ewry; three children: sons, Douglas James and Sean Michael; daughter, Leslie
Shannon (Darrel) Neff. Also survived by her grandsons: Jake, Luke, Jacob and
Josh. She graduated from Julienne High School in 1960 and remained a dedicated
member of the alumni association. She had a long career with Ohio Bell
Telephone/Ameritech/AT&T. Judy spent her retirement years volunteering at St.
Charles Borromeo in countless capacities including St. Vincent de Paul, the
Bereavement Committee and Chuck Wagon. She was an energetic member of Christ
Child Society. She also enjoyed teaching card making and stamping at Marco’s
Paper. Judy will be remembered for her dedication and service to God, her
enormous love for her children and grandchildren and her selflessness in her
desire to help all that she could. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 30th
from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road. Mass of
Christian Burial will be held Monday, May 1st at 10:30am at St. Charles Borromeo
Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, 1625
Calvary Drive. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Judy’s memory
to St. Vincent de Paul of Dayton.
