TUSCALOOSA – Curtis Aaron Bell, Jr., age 63, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., died April 22, 2017, at home. Services will be 3 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2017, at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home with Ed Booth officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Darnell Bell; brother, Robert Alan Bell; grandparents, Charley Bell and Clysta Bell Park; step grandfather, Marvin R. Park, Douglas D. Darnell and Janette Darnell.
Survivors include his daughters, Curtisa Westbrook (Tisa) of Berry, Ala. and Gabrielle Bennett of Ralph, Ala.; sons, Curtis A. "Beau" Bell III (Pamela) and Benjamin Bennett (Katie); father, Curtis Aaron Bell, Sr.; sisters, Curtisa Bell Brothers (Jimmy) and Susan Bell Killough; brother, Michael Douglas Bell; eight grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles and special friends.
Curtis enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, the outdoors and just life on the farm in general.
He was a veteran of the early 1980's, serving in the United States Army.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Burnett, Paul Hicks, Scott Wren, Byron Jacobs, Mike Robbins and Brad Booth.
Honorary pallbearers are members of the previous West End Methodist Church.
