Iris was born in 1998, one of ten pups born to Tess Moyer, a terrier mix, and Captain Bale,a large Black Lab, in Baleville. She was adopted by the Taylors when she was three months old. Iris was loved and loving, always joyful and eager for a walk. She loved to travel and knew the regular rest areas... she would nudge the driver to remind him, five miles ahead.
Iris adored cats and was very respectful of their space. She was often found lying on the floor while her cat lay comfortably in the middle of Iris' big bed.
