Sara Ruth Kennedy, 90, Meridian, passed away in her sleep early Sunday morning, April 23, 2017 at her home. She was born to John and Lottie Brazil in LaGrange, Georgia on December 27, 1926. She was the forth of five children. Sara graduated from LaGrange High School in 1944 and attended Lagrange College, where she was so dedicated to her studies, she carried her typewriter everyday as she walked to class since she lacked transportation.
She married the love of her life, Robert Kennedy in 1947 and began a life journey, having four children and living in Texas, California and Idaho. She and Bobby retired to Meridian, Idaho in 1991.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby.
She is survived by her loving family; four children, John and wife Chris, Kathryn and husband Jeff, Ron and Cheryl; nine grandchildren, Heath, Korina, Zane, Kylee, Cole, Daniel, Jaryd, Chase and Shelby; eight great grandchildren, Max, Finnley, Clare, Sullivan, Logan, Greyson, Roland and Kellan and many other relatives and friends.
Sally was a transplanted Texas Belle and a true Georgia Peach.
