She secretly ran away with Sterling to Las Cruces, New Mexico to get married and to hide it from her parents. Sterling was being deploy to Wll. Norma was a truly dedicated Christian and mother. She lost the love of her life, Sterling Grant, in 2009 and continued to look forward to the day that she could be reunited. She collected anything and everything. She loved her children and grandchildren very much. She loved attending and being a part of the family at Berrendo Baptist Church where she played the organ and was a part the Ladies Golden Circle Sunday School Class. Norma will be remembered as always being at the Little Base Ball Fields here in Roswell with her husband and later to watch her grandsons play.
