Obituary:
Carley Taryn Jordan, age 20, and Brittany Marie Jordan, age 18, both of Ocean Springs, MS., died Thursday, January 12, 2006, in Wiggins, MS.
Carley and Brittany were born and lifelong residents of Ocean Springs They were both graduates of St. Alphonsus Catholic School and graduates of Mercy Cross High School. Carley and Brittany were on the dance team at Mercy Cross and very involved with Kelli's Steps School of Dance.
Carley attended Perk on a scholarship in dance and was on the Perkette Dance Team. She was a junior at Ole Miss.
Brittany was a freshman at Ole Miss and was in the Phi Mu Sorority.
Carley and Brittany were preceded in death by their father, John Russ Jordan.
They are survived by their mother, Susan Pitalo Jordan of Ocean Springs, maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Pitalo of Ocean Springs, paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L.T. Jordan of Bells, TN. They will be sadly missed by their numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Brittany died in an automobile accident outside of Wiggins, MS. She, her sister, William "Jerrod" Thompson, Candice Newman, and Joshua Bozeman and Richard O'Barr all died when the vehicle they were in collided with a tractor-trailer rig. Two others survived the accident.
