Frances was born in Waupaca on September 4, 1927, the daughter of the late Lyle and Bernice (Stinemates) Barnhart.
On September 26, 1944, she married Keith D. Bowen in Wild Rose and together they worked on the family farm for many years. She is a member of Crystal Lake United Methodist Church.
Frances is survived by her children: Janet (Norm) Strehlow, Poy Sippi; David (Kathy) Bowen, Wild Rose; Tori (Jeff) Straw, Wild Rose and Lori (Bruce) Peterson, Byron, MN; 15 grandchildren: 25 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren; her sisters: Pat Turner, Utah and Shirley (Vern) Hess, California. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Keith, her daughter, Cathy, 3 nephews, Glen, Don & Richard Jensen, her sister & brother-in-law, Iona (Chandler) Jackson, 2 sister-in-laws, Lelah (Bruno) Jensen and Mary (Robert) Christie.
A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, April 29 at 1 PM at the Holly Funeral Home - Wild Rose with Pastor Jeffrey S. Fletcher, officiating. Memorial visitation will be on Saturday from 12 Noon to 1 PM at the funeral home.
