Services for Mrs. Bertie Mae Reynolds, 101, of Early were held at 10:00 a.m. today, Thursday, June 1, 1995, at Heartland Funeral Home with Wayne Horton officiating. Burial was in Greenleaf Cemetery.
She died at 11:10 a.m. Monday, May 29, 1995, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
Born October 27, 1893, in Mills County, she was the daughter of George and Mattie West. She grew up in Mills County and moved to Early in 1963. She was a homemaker and a member of the Early Church of Christ.
She married Stame Reynolds on July 25, 1909, in Mills County, he preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Wanda Nelson of Early, Louella Wilkinson of Duncan, Oklahoma, and Addlee Westerman of Brownwood; 19 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; 59 great-great grandchildren; and two great-great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Frank Reynolds and Roy Reynolds; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild.
