Edward was baptized at St. Peter's , Allegheny City, Pa. as Eduardum Joannem on 30 March, 1873. He moved to Middletown from Pittsburg in the late 1890's.He was a house painter/paper hanger. He married Mable Gray on 19 April,1899 at the Methodist Episcopal Church in South Middletown. Edward's middle name is a mystery. I have come across the name Joseph. He was baptized as Edward John and he signed a 1916 passport application, Edward James. The above photo is from his passport application.
