Beverly A. Schroeder, age 68 of Camanche, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the Alverno Health Care Facility, surrounded by her family.

In following Beverly’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, April 28th at the Pape Funeral Home. A celebration of life will take place from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Saturday at the Moose Lodge.

Beverly was born in Clinton on June 5, 1948, the daughter of Michael and Thelma (Brewster) Sterbenz. She graduated from Northeast High School.

She had been employed at A.D.M. and later at the Moose Lodge.

She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #63. Beverly’s absolute pride and joy were her grandchildren and great grandson. She enjoyed bowling and was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan.

Beverly is survived by three children; Lori (Shawn) Maze of Albany, Deb Allen of Camanche and Greg Schroeder of Fulton; six grandchildren, Bram Judge (fiancé Stacia Hansen), Amber Maze, Austin Schroeder, Karlie Schroeder, Ashley Maze and Lukas Schroeder; a great grandson, Dawson Judge; four sisters, Marge Light of Bettendorf, Sue (Paul) Dykstra of Clinton, Linda (Kenny) Huling of Clinton and Mary (Chuck) Seyfert of Twin Falls, ID; five brothers, Don Sterbenz of Clinton, Jim (Marie) Sterbenz of Dixon, IA, Bob Sterbenz of Clinton, Bill (Pam) Sterbenz of DeWitt and Rick (Irma) Sterbenz of Germany and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son-in-law, Todd Allen
