Mrs. ALVIE BERTHA BOWARD, 75, of 1059 Florida Ave., died Tuesday at Washington County Hospital after an illness of two and one-half weeks. Born in Frederick County, she was the daughter of John and Emma (Martin) Fogle. She spent most of her life in Hagerstown.
Surviving are son, Walter F. Ensor, Sykesville, Md.; sister, Mrs. Bessie Shilling, Frederick; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Rouzer Funeral Home; interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
