Tyler Thomas Lewis was born on March 15, 1996 in Davenport, Iowa. He attended Muscatine Schools through 11th grade, graduated from Lake West Christian Academy in Lake of the Ozarks and graduated from MTI Welding School. Tyler's life was nurtured by many people. Tyler was a well-rounded individual possessing many talents ranging from his athleticism (soccer, swimming, cheerleading, baseball and skiing), intellectual achievements and passion for the arts (as an accomplished violinist, pianist and trumpet player). He was very diverse in the things he enjoyed; he was captivated by reading conspiracy theories, had an appreciation for all types of music, and had also become a vaping connoisseur. Tyler will be remembered for his sincere respect and charismatic personality, possessing the ability to converse with both young and old. He shared his quirky sense of humor, his kindness, and his caring spirit wherever his journey took him.

Tyler will be deeply missed by his mother, Charity Lewis-Jackson and husband Steven and maternal family: brothers, Trevion Gathright, Christopher and Cody Jackson and Draven Lantz; sister, Tricia Denniger; grandparents, D. Stacy and Patricia Lewis and Diana and Stephen Stout; great-grandfather, Warren Lewis and aunts and uncles, Calista and Jeff Mills, David and Jennifer Lewis, Dom Lewis, and Nan and Michael Shaw; father, Robert D’Wayne Gathright and wife, Tashundra and paternal family: sister, Marissa Gathright; grandmother, Mattie Gathright; and aunts and uncles, Marilyn Coleman, Anthony (Tank) and Tamika Pruden and Chad Venson and fiancée Rebecca Collier.

Tyler is also survived by many, many cousins; great aunts and uncles, extended family and numerous friends.

Now Tyler is chillin’ with Jesus, walking on streets of gold and singin’ with angels.
