He was a Christian by faith. For most of his adult life was a machinist in the automotive industry. He loved using his mechanic skills in his spare time, as well, tinkering on old cars and seeing what he could develop out of a scrapped car. He was very devoted to his mother with whom he cared for over twenty-five years, and was also very good to all of his brothers. He was especially close to his brother Roy, and his family. Anyone who knew Robert would tell you that he loved people, and enjoyed talking to anyone he came in contact with. He never met a stranger, and was a good friend to many. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by one daughter, Virginia Varnadoe of Moultrie, GA., and one brother, Roy Varnadoe (Margaret) of Sautee Nachoochee, GA.
