Angela S. Griffin-Wimberly, 55, of Bloomfield, beloved wife of Lovett T. Wimberly, Sr., passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017.

Born in Bolivar, TN, daughter of Naomi (McTizic) Griffin of Bolivar, TN, and the late JC Loston Griffin, she was raised in TN and received her AS from Union University and her BA in Nursing from Tennessee State University. She continued her education at UCONN where she received both an MBA and a Master's degree in Nursing. She had been employed by Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center for 18 years and most recently at Touchpoints of Bloomfield. She was an ordained minister with Emmanuel Ministries International Apostolic Center.

Besides her mother and husband, Lovett of 15 years she leaves two sons Lovett T. Wimberly, II of Windsor and Roy A. Wimberly (Shauna) of Windsor Locks; three grandchildren Daisy, Chase, and Camryn Wimberly; and five brothers Terry Griffin (Noretta), Jerry Griffin (Debra), Jimmy Griffin (Lisa), Loston Griffin, Jr., and San Carlos Griffin.

Her family will receive friends Saturday, April 29th from 10-12 pm followed by a Funeral Service at 12 PM at the Lodge, 130 Deerfield Road, Windsor.

Burial will be in Mt Zion Cemetery, Saulsbury, TN.
