Charles Lee Shafer, 59 of Springdale passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale.
He was born February 17, 1958 in Leavenworth, Kansas to Charles Lee Dryer and Howard and Pearl Gabrick Shafer.

Charles was a Supervisor for Tyson Foods. He loved to watch T.V., especially Star Trek and he was an Elvis fan and enjoyed music.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Timothy Shafer and one sister Kathy Shafer.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Shafer of the home; one son, Jody Skaggs, five daughters, Charita Rhodes and husband Casey of Decatur, Rachel Burk of Lowell, Carla Morgan, Tracy Stuckey and Deanna Evans; two brothers, Joe Shafer and wife Doreen of Springdale and Troy Dale Dryer of Washington; three sisters, Charlene Brace of Springdale, Carol Dryer of Fayetteville and Jamie Sanford of Tontitown; eighteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale.
