Wilma Jean West, age 76, of Monticello, KY, departed this life on Friday, May 12, 2017 at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center.
Wilma was born on October 11, 1940 in Nicholasville, KY, to the late Tommy and Roxie Hoover Bruner. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her five sons, Leslie (and Judy) West, Gregory (and Daisy) West, John (and Monica) West, Tommy West, and David West, all of Monticello, KY; two daughters, Alisa West of Nicholasville, KY; and Mary (and John) McCutchen of Monticello, KY; a brother, Lonnie Bruner of Nicholasville, KY; twenty three grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, a special grandson, Christopher West; nineteen great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James V. West, whom preceded her on September 9, 2016; a son, James B. West; a daughter, Anna West Crowley; a grandson, Dalton West; three brothers, Kenneth, Harley, and Herbert Bruner; and two sisters, Evon McClure, and Helen Gill.
Visitation will be on Sunday, May 14, 2017 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
Her funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Spann Hill Cemetery in Wayne Co., KY. Pallbearers will be Chris West, Kayla West, Cody McCutchen, Jr. Crowe, Michael Wombles, and Lisa West.
