A memorial service for Peggy Jean (Cornelius) Wilson, age 80 of Lindale, is scheduled for 6:00 PM Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale with Bro. James Cowart officiating. Peggy passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 at her residence in Lindale. She was born in Moran, Texas on September 26, 1936 to the late George Dolphis and Gertrude Lucille (McCullough) Cornelius. Peggy was formerly of Dallas and Tyler until moving to Lindale in 2000. She graduated from Abilene High School in 1955 and attended one year of business college. Peggy was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Tyler since 1973 and was a member of the American Legion Tyler Post #12. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Teenah Denise Wilson on April 24, 2006. She is survived by her daughter, Rondah Barkley and husband, David of Lindale; son, Robert Ronnie Wilson of Coleman; 3 grandchildren, Nick Alan Barkley of Lindale; Joshua Aaron Barkley of Lindale; and Gyne Rackcliffe of El Paso; and 5 great grandchildren. The family will greet friends following the service at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale.
