Hodges SC – Bruce Washington Morrow, 61, of Rt. 2 died yesterday [August 1, 1974] at Self Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Greenwood County, Jan. 22, 1913, he was a son of the late Leonard W. and Permellia DeVore Morrow. Prior to his retirement, he was employed with the Grendel Plant of Abney Mills, and was a member of Cokesbury Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Sara Talbert Morrow of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Joanne) Pate of Newburgh IN; three sons, Jerry Morrow of Hodges, Herman Morrow of Greenwood, and Ray Morrow of Honea Path; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Hastings of Greenwood, and Mrs. Grace Long of Chappells; a brother, Marion Morrow of Hodges; ten grandchildren; and a great-Grandchild.
