Jerome “Jerry” A. Nelson, age 74 of North Branch passed away peacefully with family by his side on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Jerry was born on November 30, 1942 in St. Paul to parents Ralph and Eunice (Sorensen) Nelson. He was baptized on May 9,1943 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Jerry moved with his family to the Amador Hill area in Chisago County and attended North Branch Schools graduating in 1960. He attended one year of college before enlisting in the U.S. Army where he served for two years. After his return from military duty he attended Northwest Technical College. Jerry took a job with AT&T and worked for them as an Electronic Technician for over 30 years.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Eunice Nelson, an infant daughter, infant sister, Eulonnie, brothers in law, Homer Beecher, Jerry Fairbanks, Kenny (Walene) Fairbanks, Gene (Shirley) Fairbanks, Melvin Fairbanks, Dale Fairbanks and Delmer Fairbanks.
