Funeral services for Deacon Scottie Thompson, 75, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007 at Mt. Olive B.C. of Shreveport with Bernard Kimble, pastor officiating.
Family hour will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at Heavenly Gates. Burial will be at Round Grove Cemetery.
Deacon Thompson, a retired medical tech, died Wed. Jan. 31, 2007 after a long illness.
He is survived by one daughter, Daphne Williams; 2 sisters, Cleo Braden and Sue Ray, both of Shreveport; one brother, Sam Thompson of Portland, OR; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
