Prayers for Allen Raymond Drury, a professional jockey with the Maryland Jockey Club, will be recited at 10 a.m. Monday from the Severna Park Funeral Home of Robert S. Barranco, Ritchie Highway and Macey's Corner.
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Drury of Severna Park died thursday at Anne Arundel General Hospital after a brief illness. He was 40 years olf.
A native of Annapolis, he was the son of Mrs. Mary Chaney Herron and the late John William Drury.
He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Mary Erle Drury; three sons, Allen, John and Mark Drury; a step daughter, Sharon Kirkner; five sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Fillmore, Mrs. Marion Chance and Mrs. Mary DiPietro, all of Baltimore; Mrs. Margaret Russo of Pontiac, Mich., and Mrs. Mildred Davenport of Severna Park; and a brother, William Chaney of Severna Park.
