Mrs. Julia Alice Walters Cox, age 75 of Fairmont passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 3:00PM at Garden of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton with Ronnie Cox officiating.

A visitation will be held Tuesday April 25, 2017 from 6:00-8:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

She was born July 1, 1941 in Robeson County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. Walters and Fronia Davis Barnes.

She is survived by her husband, James H. Cox Sr. of the home; one son, James “Jimmy” H. Cox of Fairmont; one daughter, Selina Cox Tino and husband Lucky of Lumberton; three brothers, Jessie Walters and wife Edna of Fairmont, Johnny Walters of Orrum, and Darrel Walters and wife Betty of Waco, TX; one sister, Sue Walters of Wadesboro; and four grandchildren, Jordan, Tyler, Ryan, and Ande; and a special nephew, Joey Hucks.
