Willie B. Bankhead died October 27, 2007, and services were Saturday, November 3, at 11:00 a.m. at Eudora A. M. E. Church in Marks. The Rev. Sammie Parker officiated. Interment was in Shady Grove M. B. Church near Marks. Marks Burial Corporation had charge.

Born July 26, 1919, to the late John and Mary Bankhead in Arkansas, he was 88 years old. He confessed Christ at an early age and will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. He had one brother, Paul Bankhead, who preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a daughter, Camelia Bankhead Williams (Randy) of Itta Bena; a son, Charles Bankhead (Amanda) of Riverdale, IL; two special cousins, Issabell McCain and Pearl L. Sutton of Chicago, IL; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family thanks their many friends for their prayers, love, support and any acts of kindness shown during their time of bereavement. May God bless each and every one of you.
