Joanna (Bosch) DeWitt, 94, of Forest Grove, went to be with her Lord on Monday, April 24, 2017. Joanna's life was a life of service. She had a sweet and tender spirit, and a passion for growing tomatoes. If you were ever fortunate to visit Joanna her grateful parting words were always, "Thank you, thank you, thank you." Mother was a treasure to her family and she will be greatly missed by her children: Bonnie and Dick Blauwkamp, Barb and Tom Tolles, Candace and Bill; two granddaughters, Julie (Bryan) Brunelle (two great-granddaughters: Mina, Cara), and Tracy (Howard) Buse. She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Major Albert E. DeWitt (U.S. Air Force Ret.) in 2013.
Funeral services with be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, April 28, 2017, at Forest Grove Reformed Church, 1630 32nd Ave., Hudsonville. Visiting hours will be 12:00-12:45 prior to the funeral service at church. Interment will be in Borculo Cemetery. Memorials to Gideons International. Arrangements by Yntema Funeral Home, Zeeland.
