He is preceded in death by his son Jeffrey Steven Hardy, parents L.C & Lillian Hardy, in laws Leo & Gladys Attaway, sisters Mary Hood, Joyce Roper, nephew Jamie Henderson, niece Paula Poston, his brother in law and best friend Randall Poston.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 until 8 in the evening.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 54 years, Gloria Hardy; children and spouses, Pam & Gary Jackson, Susan & Scott Cargil, Larry & Robbie Hardy, Heather & Ronnie Mayfield, Tammy & Robert Frazier, Sunny & Jacqueline Hardy, Zackary Hardy, Zaida Hardy; 16 grandchildren with a grandson due to arrive in August; 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Beverly Blair, Dena Henderson; sisters in law, Jot Attaway, Gay Lastrapes, Nita Attaway; brother in law, Steven Attaway, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
