Elsie M. Pennington, 76, south Kansas City, died March 28, 1987, at Baptist Medical Center. She was born in Kirksville, Mo., and lived in the Kansas City area 50 years. Mrs. Pennington was a cafeteria manager for the Kansas city School District for 20 years and retired in 1968. She was a member of the Central Church of the Seven-Day Adventists and it's Dorcas society. Survivors include three daughters, Edith Beans, Ft. Collins Colo., Dixie Dahl, San Diego, Calif., and Barbara Stocker, Kansas City; a sister, Gerald Graves, Plattsburg, Mo.; and seven grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Park Lawn Chapel; burial in Green Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the Voice of Prophecy.
