Dawn K. Eavenson, 78, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday April 20, 2017 at Uniontown Hospital. She was born August 18, 1938 in La Belle, PA a daughter of the late Gerald and Aline (Harig) Catlett.

Dawn worked at Morgan Shirt Factory and the former Pajama Factory in Sabraton. Later in life she owned and operated her own businesses. She started by opening an upholstery shop and later operating Abba Dabba Costumes. In her spare time she enjoyed playing the piano, sewing, and making craft projects for her family.

She is survived by two daughters Sheila Blosser and husband Jacob, and Cheryl Baker all of Morgantown; brother-in-law Robert Rinehart of Uniontown, PA; niece Robin Kovacs of Martinez, GA and her family; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Dawn was preceded in death by her husband Charles Eavenson; daughter Tara Bunner; sister Aleta Rinehart; and a grandson Daniel J. Baker, Jr.

Friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Monday April 24, 2017 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm and again on Tuesday from 12pm until the time of funeral services at 1pm with Bishop Robert Hoskin officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
