MARY JANE LOCK (Age 95)

Passed away peacefully on Friday, April 7, 2017.

Mary Jane was born January 2, 1922 in St. Louis, Missouri. She grew up in Missouri and in 1941 married her beloved husband, Russell A. Lock, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brother Stanley Cameron of Willard, Missouri.

Mary Jane moved to Northern Virginia with her family when her husband's job brought them to the area. She worked as an administrative assistant for Analytic Services Corporation for over 20 years where she thoroughly enjoyed the work and camaraderie with her colleagues. She was a vibrant, energetic woman who cherished all holidays with friends and family. She loved baking, playing bridge, reading, being outdoors, and all family gatherings. Mary Jane lived in McLean for 50 years and was an active member of St. John the Beloved Catholic Church.

Mary Jane was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Sandra Lock Beall (Tom); two grandchildren Kimberly Beall Policicchio (Michael) and Justin Beall (Tasha); and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 26 at 10 a.m. at Saint Mark Catholic Church, 9970 Vale Road, Vienna, VA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. A private interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery on a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor may be made to the (serving Virginia), 1622 East Parham Road, Richmond, Virginia 23228 or Lombardi Cancer Center, Med Star Georgetown University Hospital, 3970 Reservoir Road, Washington, DC 20007.
