Lottie Frances Mitchell Purcell, age 86, died Monday, February 17, 2014, at Maysville Extended Care, in Maysville, Kentucky. She was born on April 8, 1927, to the late William and Lettie Mitchell. She was married to the late Paul Purcell. She attended the Nazarene Church in Aberdeen and worked at January and Wood for over 35 years.

She is survived by: two sons, Paul Purcell, Jr. (Barbara), of Maysville, and Terry Ralph Purcell, of Maysville; a daughter, Joyce (Jim) Fredrickson, of Maysville; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Mitchell, of Lexington. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Purcell Faris.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Palmer Funeral Home, in Germantown. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility Activity Fund.
