BANCROFT, MARY RUTH, 93, of Louisville, died Thursday, February 8, 2007. She was a member of Highland Park First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Jerry Bancroft; and daughter, Margaret Bancroft Adams. She is survived by her sons, Jerry B. Bancroft Sr. (Kathleen) and Mickey Bancroft (Mary Catherine); grandchildren, Major Jerry Bruce Bancroft Jr., USAF (Marcy), Blake and Matthew Adams, Rebecca Adams Winder and Kelly Bancroft; and great- grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob Bancroft. Her funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. on Friday.
