Helen Earles Pruitt, age 93, of Chatham, passed away April 21, 2017 at Roman Eagle Home in Danville. She was born on March 16, 1924, in Stony Mills, daughter of Gus Dorsey Earles and Ella Grace Dillion “Sadie” Earles. She was married to the late William Howard Pruitt.
She was a member of Beverly Chapel where she taught Sunday school for 43 years.
She is survived by two grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, William Howard Pruitt, Jr.; sisters, Gladys Emma Heath, Evelyn Luna Mitchell, Janie Grace Reedy, and Virginia Dare Crowder; brothers, Guy Lindsey Earles, Clay Randall Earles, and Edward Kelly Earles.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Burial Park.
