Gordon Louis Reynolds, 84 of Jesup died Friday, April 21, 2017 after an extended illness. The New York native had lived in Wayne County the past 23 years, was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of Red Hill Baptist Church where he enjoyed using his God given talent of singing. Some other favorite pastimes were gardening but he especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors are his wife of 61 years, Faye Bennett Reynolds of Jesup; a daughter, Dawn(Benjamin) Watson of Fredrick, MD; a son, Donald (Laurie) Reynolds of Seneca Falls, NY; 6 grandchildren, Megan and Derek Reynolds, Adam, Jared, Matthew and Rian Watson; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Monday, April 24, 2017 at Red Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Williamson officiating. Interment will be in the Red Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be his family.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 A.M. prior to services at the church.

Memorials may be made to the Red Hill Baptist Church, 2574 Red Hill Road, Jesup, Ga. 31545.
