Mildred E. Hicks, age 76, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the family home.
Preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Rev. Charles R. Hicks; parents, Vaughn and Lela Jones; brother, Rev. Charlie Jones; grandparents, Omer and Oma Nicely and Charlie and Hester Jones.
Survivors include children and spouses, Mike and Jenni Hicks, Rev. Rick and Robin Hicks, Phil and Rhoda Hicks and Pam Hicks Cooper; grandchildren, Jason Hicks, Misty (Scott) Giger, Ashley (David) Howard, Christian Hicks, Eric, Chuck and Nathan Hicks and Reva Hicks; great grandchildren, Sadie, Tyler (Jessica) Hicks, Lucas (Kelcie) Holder and Karly Holder; great great grandchildren, Chloe and Kylie Hicks.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ballard’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
Funeral service will be held 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2017 at Ballard’s Chapel Baptist Church, Rev. Rick Hicks and Rev. Jerry Vittetoe officiating. Graveside service and interment 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Ballard’s Chapel Baptist Cemetery, Rev. Beaver Branham officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Ballard’s Chapel Baptist Church.
