Claudine Roland Allen 70, of Paris, passed away Friday, November 20, 2015 in Sherman, Texas. A graveside service is set for 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Knights of Honor Cemetery in Blossom with Bro. Ben Ward officiating. The family will gather at the Blossom Community Center from 10:30-1:00 PM following the graveside service. A celebration of Claudine’s life will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday November 28, 2015 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. The family will receive friends from 6:30-7:30 PM, Monday evening, November 23, 2015 at the funeral home. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Claudine was born November 1, 1945 in Kilgore, Texas to Charles Robert and Mary Dee Robertson Roland. She married Bobby Wayne Allen on November 18, 1960 in Blossom, Texas. He died June 1, 2003. Mrs. Allen worked in the food service industry in several cafes, restaurants, and college and hospital cafeterias. She was very proud to be a part of her brothers and sisters at the Kingdom Hall.
Survivors are her three children, Mark W. Allen of Paris, Autumn Holly Rushing and husband, David of Sherman, and Roland Duane Allen of Pattonville; four grandchildren, Shane Chennault and wife, Nikki of Paris, Joshua Newkirk of Reno, Ashley Williams and husband, Derek Lynn of Paris, and Gage Allen of Paris; five great-grandchildren, Hayden Chennault, Brently Newkirk, Hudson Chennault, Bryson Newkirk, and Derek Cole Williams; and one sister, Mary Ruth Lucas of Commerce. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one sister Loraine Kelly.
