She was a charter member of Gateway Baptist Church and was a talented musician and loved serving her lord through music and song.
She retired from Memorial Hospital as a L.P.N. Loved everybody and never met a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Elbert and Lonie Manning; husband and love of her life for 57 years, Frank Alford; son, Steven Wayne Alford; two sisters, Elsie Mealor and Mary Frances Brown; brother, Elbert Manning.
Family will receive friends on Saturday and Sunday, April 23rd from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 24th at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Denny Manning and Rev Jack Key officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
