Born in Lee Mont, VA on June 10, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Lee Bundick and the late Vernetta Budd Bundick. She was a retired Postmaster and a retired School Bus Driver for Accomack County. She was also a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son; Morris Lee Satchell and his wife Betty of Hebron, MD, a daughter; Susan Smith and husband Emerson of Melfa, VA, four grandchildren; Ashley Fox and her husband Ben of Eastville, VA, Todd Satchell of Brandywine, MD, Jennifer Annis of Onancock and Lori Beck of Houston, TX, and five great-grandchildren; Carter Fox, Justin Annis, Matt Annis, Camden Beck and Kesteren Beck.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Thornton Funeral Home in Parksley, VA with Rev. William Jefferson officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Cemetery in Parksley, VA. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at the Thornton Funeral Home in Parksley, VA.
