Obituary

Larry Warren Dickerson Sr., 66, went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 19, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his family and friends, after a lengthy illness. He was born in DeQuincy, LA. on August 25, 1950.
Larry was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying both hunting and fishing. He was an active volunteer at the Sabine Council on Aging (SCOA) Toledo Bend Center and initiated the "Hunters Enriching Life Program to take handicap adults and children fishing.

He was a member of NRA and the TBLA, and served 4 years in the Army at Fort Hood, TX,
and retired from BECI after 31 years of service.
He left to cherish his memory, his wife of 34 years, Edith;
one son, Larry Warren Dickerson, Jr., both of Toledo Bend;
his brother, David Dickerson (Antheia) of Alaska; one sister, Nona Treme (Garland) of Dequincy along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Lorene Dickerson.
Services will be held on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 2:00pm at Hixson Snider Funeral Home of DeQuincy with Rev. Carl Francois officiating. Visitation will be at the Hixson

Snider Funeral Home on Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 6:00-9:00pm and will resume at the funeral home on Monday, from 12:00pm until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Squyres Church Risinger Memorial Park Cemetery in Ragley.
