Last Rites Held for Mrs. Lamp
Funeral services for Mrs. Velma Marie Lamp, 55, of Council Bluffs were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Avoca. The Revs. Oscar Johnson and Joseph Gerlt officiated. Interment was at Graceland Cemetery.
Mrs. Lamp died in a Council Bluffs hospital Friday. She had been a patient about a week. She and her husband, Arthur, lived in the Avoca area for many years until moving to Council Bluffs several months ago.
Survivors other than her husband include: daughter, Norma Jean Lamp, at home; son, Larry Lamp of Council Bluffs; four brothers, Henry Plagman of Manning, Leroy Plagman of Kimballton, Chris Plagman of Casey and Earl Plagman of Audubon. Four sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Mulligan of Defiance, Mrs. Irene Long of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Ada Myers of Guthrie Center and Mrs. Alice Wyantt of St. Joseph, Mo.
