She enjoyed being a homemaker, playing bingo, and spending time with her family. Rebecca was a popsicle enthusiast, she loved eating popsicles. She was a proud and loving mom, wife, and mammaw. She was a member of the LDS Church; Stop 11, during her youth and Greenwood, 2nd Ward, presently.
Rebecca is survived by her husband, Casey Hutchens of New Whiteland, her children; Shannon (Robert) Hansen of Whiteland, Heather (Chase) Yarian of Indianapolis, James (Rachel Sulyok) Duncan of Bedford, Ohio, Cassandra (Troy) Harshey of Bargersville, and Kasey (EJ) Hutchens of Indianapolis, her mother, Gloria Harold, her step-mother, Jolene Gary, both of Indianapolis, seven sisters; Cindy Pettijohn, Mary Breeck, Jeannie Fisher, Janice Gary, Elaine Buckdrop, Patricia Walker, Corina Eilert, five brothers; Dennis Gary, James Gary, Harry Gary, Nelson Gary, and Ellis Gary II, and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ellis Gary, her grandmother, Hazel Gary, and two nephews, Bernard “Jamie” Mack Breeck Jr. and Justin Lee James Gary.
The family is conducting a funeral at 12 noon on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 900 E Stop 11 Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service, on Saturday, at the church.
Burial will be at Round Hill cemetery in Indianapolis.
