WALKERTOWN - Mr. Jack Junior Dillon, 80 died Tuesday evening, January 31, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born March 23, 1931 in Stokes County to Jessie Woodson and Hattie Woods Dillon. Mr. Dillon was retired from Kraft Foods with 35 years of service. He was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church for over 50 years where he was the Sunday School Superintendent, Lay Leader and a member of the choir. He was very active with his children and grandchildren. An 11:00 a.m. funeral service will be held Friday, February 3, 2012 at Burroughs Chapel with Rev. Jeff Harlow, Rev. Todd Cartner and Rev. Bill Curry officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nannie Marie Sapp Dillon; brothers, Odell, Eugene and John Dillon; sisters, Emma DeLapp, Adis Ogburn and Anise Mabe. He is survived by three children, Keith Dillon and wife Sharon of Wallburg, Robin Dellinger and special friend Bob Morphis of Winston-Salem, Susan Brim and husband Mike of Clinton; ten grandchildren, Brandon Dillon, Garrett Dillon, Caleb Dillon, Kristen Dillon, Ryan Dillon, Jessica Smith, Jake Dellinger and wife Miranda, Jordan Dellinger, Ben Brim and wife Tori, Hannah Brim; three great grandchildren, Peyton Dellinger, Kayden Smith and Annalynn Brim; one sister, Clarice Fulk of Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Burroughs Funeral Home and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 811 West Evergreen Avenue, Chicago, IL 60642-2642. Burroughs Funeral Home in Walnut Cove is serving the Dillon family.
