Amy E. Chilton, 89, of Campbellsburg, Ky., died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007, at the Baptist Hospital Northeast Hospice unit in La Grange, Ky.

She was born Jan. 6, 1918, in Bowling Green, Ky., the daughter of James and Amie Celsor Register. She was a homemaker and raised three children. She loved to crochet, knit and quilt, leaving behind many beautiful pieces for her family. She attended services at Sulphur Fork Primitive Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Abney and husband Vernon of Campbellsburg, Ky., and Linda Chilton and companion Dave Whiter of Lexington; one son, Roger Chilton and wife Janice of Campbellsburg, Ky.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral was scheduled for 11 a.m. today at Ransdell Funeral Home in Campbellsburg, Ky. Burial will be in the Campbellsburg Masonic Cemetery.

Visitation was scheduled today before the service.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Providence Baptist Church Building Fund.

Amy E. Chilton, age 89 of Campbellsburg, died Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at the Baptist Hospital Northeast Hospice Unit in LaGrange. She was the son of the late James and Amie Celsor Register, attended services at Sulphur Fork Primitive Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters: Barbara Abney and husband, Vernon, Campbellsburg; Linda Chilton, Lexington, Indiana; one son, Roger Chilton and wife, Janice, Campbellsburg; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 8, 2007 at Ransdell Funeral Home in Campbellsburg. Reverend Doug Boyd officiated. Interment was in the Campbellsburg Masonic Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers were the great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were the grandchildren.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Providence Baptist Church Building fund.
