Roger A. Hayden, 59, Pendleton died February 6, 2007 at St. Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana.
He was born August 16, 1947 in Anderson, Indiana and was a lifelong Pendleton, Indiana resident.
He was employed at Tractor Supply Distribution Center, Pendleton, Indiana for the past 6 years. Previously he was a sales representative 15 years for Keebler Company and was assistant manager at Mace's Supermarket, Pendleton where he began working as a teenager.
Roger was a 1965 graduate of Pendleton HIgh School. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War having served with the 151st Airborne Rangers Company D from 1966 to 1969.
Roger loved spending time with his family especially his grandkids. He loved camping at Kamp Modoc, playing golf, and listening to music.
Survivors include his children, Lora Ann (husband, Travis) Lawyer of Shirley, Indiana, Brian (girlfriend, Jodi McDonough) Hayden of Pendleton, and Sarah (fiance, Matt Blakeley) Hayden of Alexandria; his mother, Bettie M. (Presser) Williams of Pendleton; his companion of 15 years, Becky Collins of Anderson; his aunt, Marianne Underwood of Pendleton; cousins, Doug Underwood of Pendleton and Kent Underwood of Markleville; 7 grandchildren, Nicole, Kelsi, and Keiton Lawyer, Brandon and Caitlin Hayden, Leah McCormick, and Brayden Blakeley.
