Mr. Jimmy Clarence Clements, age 73, of Silver Creek, passed away Sunday morning, Feb. 12, 2017, at his residence. Mr. Clements was born in Floyd County, Ga. on January 9, 1944, son of the late Wilson and Ruthie Kight Clements. He was also preceded in death by three grandchildren.Prior to his retirement in 2016 due to ill health, he was employed with Silver Creek Pharmacy following many years of owning and operating a distribution company. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the 34th Signal Battalion in Stuttgart, Germany during the Vietnam War. An ordained Deacon and Bible teacher at a former church, Mr. Clements was a member of Pleasant Valley South Baptist Church.
