Mary "Peg" Margaret (Thompson) Arnett, age 93, passed away peacefully in the loving care of Presence St. Anne Center, Rockford, Illinois on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. She was born on August 28, 1923 in Forest City, Illinois to Elmer & Anna Thompson (Cannon). She moved from Iron River, Michigan to Rockford, Illinois in 2006 to be closer to her family.
She is survived by her two daughters, Margie (Edward) Bush of Peoria, Illinois and Mary Ann (Melvin) Welch of Rockford, Illinois; grandchildren Cathy (Kevin) Hocker of Golden, Colorado, Tricia (Daniel) Nelson of Rockford, Illinois, Joseph (Debbie) Bush of Geneva, Illinois, Kevin (Melanie) Welch of Park City, Utah and John (Audrey) Bush of Des Moines, Iowa; great-grandchildren, Madelynn & Dylan Hocker, Nicholas & Zachary Nelson, Michael Bush and Noah & Atticus Welch.
