Funeral Services for James Bendell Cary, age 88, of Holladay, TN, will be 2pm Thursday, April 20th at Plunk Funeral Home with Bro. Stan Brantley officiating. Burial will follow in Holladay Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 11am until service time at 2pm.

Mr. Cary was born August 11, 1928, in Carroll County, TN, to the late Albert Lyde Cary and Minnie Edwards Cary. He was a member of Holladay Church of Christ. He was a Veteran of the Korean War working with the Signal Corp, and he had worked as a Barber, a Millwright for Fisher Body (GM Plant), Dozer work and was known for making sorghum. He farmed for many years and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his 4 wheeler and being outdoors.

Wife: Maxcine Cary – Holladay, TN
Daughters: Belinda (Jimmy) Hendrix Cagle – Winchester, TN
Jackie (Donny) Hendrix Plant – Holladay, TN
Son: Nathan Broda Hendrix Jr. – Bennettsville, SC
Son-In-Law: Norman Holladay – Florence, AL
Grandchildren: Blanca Holladay Gifford, Cynthia Holladay Moore, Jason Cagle, Bethany Cagle Smith, Damon Plant, Brian (Jenny) Plant, & Logan Plant
Nieces and Nephews: Johnny Fullerton, Judy Sue Downard, David Cary & Carol Baggett

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by:
Daughter: Doloris Hendrix
4 Sisters including Lydia Nunnery
Brother: Clifton Cary
